Leatherette Interior
At one of the rallies we attended, someone had painted/stained the leatherette.
We have tried finding some info on doing this, but to no avail. Any ideas??Bill 84 FC 35 SB "$quanderlodge" Terrace, B.C. Canada Looking for the perfect gift? Give the gift of Flickr! |

Bill,
I painted some vinyl seats. Might work your seats. Cleaned the seats using Dawn Blue detergent and a mild scrub pad. Rinsed thoroughly with water (wet cloths) and allowed to dry for a day. Sprayed two coats of Klean-Strip Bulldog Adhesion Promoter. Then three coats of SEM Color Coat. Klean-Strip Bulldog Adhesion Promoter - #QTP0123. About $30.00 Qt. Sprayed it using a Binks spray gun. . SEM Products - Color Coat - available in many colors. About $12.00 16 Oz. spray can. Two low back seats took about 1/3 of the Bulldog Adhesion Promoter., about 2-1/2 cans of the SEM Color Coat.
