Well, we finally thought of a name for our coach! We bought it a year
ago, have only taken one major trip so far, last summer, due to
working out of state this year, missed attending "Q", but already
signed up for next year! Starting this summer, we'll be heading out a
lot in "Maunder Maximum" (pronounced `mon-der. Like wander) We like
the idea of naming the coaches, especially when posting on forums or
attending rally's, but nothing was coming to mind. We discovered that
"maunder" meant to "wander aimlessly", which is exactly what we plan
to do in it! A lot! In addition, there is a popular scientific term
called the "Maunder Minimum" which refers to the period of very low
sunspot activity, roughly from 1645 to 1715, which is meaningless to
us, but people hear Maunder Maximum, and think it sounds like
something they should remember from school or something!?

I really enjoy the forums, and read every post, so I'm ready to fix
anything that may break in the future! I didn't understand why we had
two forums until I read some of the explosive posts over the year. I'm
guessing that's what happened to cause a new group to form? I think
people feel they can "vent", somewhat irrationally when it's just text
and not face to face. So, I guess we need to have even more rally's so
that everyone will know everyone personally, and we can maintain a
tighter support group (more than ever, now with no "factory"). This
forum is a genuine treasure, and we should treat it as such.

`Looking forward to meeting you all!

Sincerely,

P.S. I also got some photos posted of some projects, like the
motorcycle lift, TV, etc:

Hello Fred,

I like the name... clever! Nice coach and upgrades too. Sorry we missed you at
Q.
Hopefully next year. We did get to meet Mike and Tami at the Organ Stop Pizza
place for
a short time on our way home. Let us know if you are in the New England area.

"A period of extream solar activity", should be Arizona's motto.
When you get to a rally you will realize we are nothing but kind on
the forums. Few can type drunk.

There are good reasons to have two or several forums when you
consider 'one member contributing forum' on yahoo ceased continual
contribution when stewartship dictated the capture of participation
to a new venue. Manipulative control of the contribution of a group
is dangerous to the concept of free share of the resources of those
contributions. More than any other forum
operators/owner/moderator/stewarts I respect and appreciate ErnieE
MikeB and RalphF for maintaining this selfless source. When one
source remain, controllers of that source may charge $50. for 15 min
to view the opinions posted even though the post were for the
intended purpose of free share of that information.

I like the pics, nice bus. the way you tie down the motorcycle is
unconfortable to me because you can only sinch? the straps against
the suspension and in a bounce the force of he sinch is lost to
absorption of that shock. I would also loop a strap around the
rim/tire and expanded metal???? Nice welds, cool mod.
