Drain pipe from black and grey

Hi group,
I have had a leak for a while now in my drain pipes.
Let me see if I can explain it right.
My black and grey tanks go into a 4" abs pipe.
Somebody in the past put a pipe in the 4" pipe and glued it in.
Coming out of that they put a rubber collar and covers it and also goes
over the end of the Drain Master dump valve.
Sucker has leaked for a couple of months now at the glued in 3/1/2"
pipe fitting with the rubber collar.
I can't find pipe that is 3 1/2" id to go into the piece of pipe that
was glued into the 4" standard pipe of the bird.
My question is...do other people have a rubber collar going to their
dump valve?
Was this some one off job for some unknown reason?
Drain drip has to go.
Any ideas?

Hi Bob

I have a rubber collar on the gray side of my dump system prior to going into the Y or T to which I hook the hose up to.

It has been there about 4 years now.

Bob:

The rubber coupling in the drain system is there to give you some
room to remove the valves from the coach. There is probably only an
inch or two space between the ends of the abs pipes but having the
rubber coupling in the line lets you get the entire valve assembly
out. Hope you have having fun in Texas. About 55 and sunny in Ocean
Shores.

Hi Marv,
Good to hear from you.
My problem with the rubber coupling is that over time it gets loose.
Twisting a sewer hose on and off and putting the cap on twisting has
caused the rubber to distort.
I guess that was the way the factory did things.
Gonna have to update that area.

Hi Fred,
Today I'm going to crawl under and take off the rubber collar. Found
I could get a 4" ID pipe that will slip over the bird pipe with just
a little sandpapering of the outer edge of the bird pipe.
Since I switched to Drain Master a few years ago, I can glue the new
pipe to the bird and the backside of the Drain Master.
When having to replace the Drain Master, the part on the back can
stay attached to the new pipe.
No more leaks (maybe me, tho
