Rob,
Lumber Liquidators offers a 1/2" x 5" Brazilian Cherry in their Bellawood product line, and they offer a 5/16 x 4" Brazilian Walnut in their Schon linup. The Schon wear layer was a little too thin for my liking. The Bellawood wear layer is better but not as good as the Mirage brand. The Brazilian Cherry is very, very red, and the Brazilian walnut has a color variation ranging from red to brown to green (lots of variation). BTW, the products that I'm describing above are engineered floors. David Brady '02 LXi, NC -----Original Message----- |

Rob,
Another good brand that I considered is Scandian. They do engineered floors in the usual exotic species: Brazilian Cherry, Tigerwood, Santos Mahogany, etc, and their wear layer is thick but not quite as thick as Mirage. David Brady '02 LXi, NC -----Original Message----- |
