Generator issues in Gulf Shores, AL

It seems to be the week for coach issues..Brakes, Electrical, etc. Condolences,
quick repairs and safe travels to all!
The Kohler gas 7.5kw in our 31fc83WL has quit on an annual basis for the last 5
years. The problem recurs after about 15-25 hours of use, regardless of the
lengths of running time . Each year, we must install 2 new brushes, which we
were told, is due to the rough armature shaft, which needs to be removed and
ground down or replaced. Question: Where can we have this repaired, replaced or
get a different generator? What new gen, gas or deisel, might fit and be hooked
up without a major coach overhaul? We plan to work our way south into Florida
for a few more days on the gulf and then anywhere(EWNS) that we can resolve this
issue and be back in VA by the weekend before Thanksgiving! All suggestions are
