Hi Bill,
> John: > Ok, why would your preference be the portable unit? Versus the portable units, the permanent units must be wired into the coach and internally attached, which makes their digital displays very hard to read unless I wish to climb into the bay with the unit, plus I don't have the ability to carry the unit from one pedestal to another in search of good power in a campground. As I mentioned before, my estimation is 10% of the time the campground power is such that I request another spot. Typically, I return to the office with a suggested location that meets my requirements after I have tested the power. Opposition to the portable units appears to focus on their possibility of being stolen. I've been using some type for at least 10-15 years and I've never had a problem; but, if that is of concern, locking mechanisms can be purchased. --- Wilhelmus Schreurs > > > > Address for the EMS is > Palmer Energy Systems > (941) 928-4573 > E-mail: John@... > > > http://www.jolynenterprises.com/electric...ystems.htm > > John: > Ok, why would your preference be the portable unit? > > This does look like cheap insurance for sure. > > Bill > 84FC35SB > Terrace, B.C. > > > --------------------------------- > The best gets better. Bill,
That link appears to be a dealer. The manufacturer's site appears to be at http://www.progressiveindustries.net/ where they have more detailed information on the products. Looks like a good investment.
