RE: Michelin Tire Facts Update
Mike,
Call the Michelin guy back and say that if it is a warranty issue, they are admitting that it is a Michelin error and they SHOULD take a loss on it. After all, what then is the incentive to find the root cause of the failure and eliminate it? Do they plan to make money whether the fail or not? I'd read the fine print on the warranty. Threaten them with a class action suit; that should get their attention. Also tell him that short term profit at the expense of the Customer, means long term loss. This has just about turned me off Michelins, and I have had good service from the tires. Man, would I ever like to get those guys across a conference table.
