Boilers vs Alternator when driving with gen on. 78fc33

While under way with the gen on, are the boilers and the alternator
fighting each other to charge the batteries?

If so, that seems like a recipe for smoke.

Dan I would venture to say NO there isn't a conflict if the systems are
working correctly. I run down the road as many others do with my genny wide
open giving me 120V AC. By the by, if you boilers then maybe you should
consider IOTA or some other replacement.

Hi Rob,

I think you are right. Jeff on the other forum posted that the
alternator contributes as needed. So if the boilers are satisfying
the set point in the alternator, it does nothing.

I am still in "dating" my Bluebird, which I bougt in May. What I
mean is, when I commit, I will replace the chargers, the oven, get a
backup camera, an inverter etc... So far it has been lots of little
fixes, so we'll see if the romance pans out when I get my family out
in it. Thanks for the advice on the chargers though!
