Daimler Chrysler confirmed Monday that it would sell a controlling interest in
its struggling Chrysler Group to "Cerberus Capital Management of New York", [The owners of Bluebird, Ft. Valley, Ga.] a private equity firm that specializes in restructuring troubled companies. The price being paid is $7.4 billion, mostly in the form of capital that Cerberus will put into Chrysler. I guess they are going to change the name from Bluebird Wanderlodge to Chrysler Wanderlodge 430 SL.. Howard Truitt Camilla, Ga. 86 PT40 |
