Leveling Jacks Problem
I am having problems with my levelers on my 82 FC...they don't life
well at all. The best I seem to be able to get out of them is a few inches of lift, not enough to even get a tire off the ground. They will hold at whatever level I can get them to, they just won't extend much. I have checked the oil level at the step well, and it is full. Suggestions? Scott Forman 82 FC35RB Memphis |

Leveling Jacks Problem
--- i've seen this before,in my case it was a strap between the
solenoid and the motor on the pump, the strap was burned as were the nuts,i filed the strap and replaced the nuts with brass nuts. the pump is under your step area. randy dupreeIn WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Scott Forman" <sforman@...> wrote: > > I am having problems with my levelers on my 82 FC...they don't life > well at all. Leveling Jacks Problem
hello. I tried this morning to move ouor bus and I couldnt get the
leveling jacks to reset. This has been an ongoing problem starting a couple of years ago. At the control panel beside the drivers seat the toggle switch to turn the system on is not turning it on. When the switch is pushed one of the two solonoids clicks under the stairs but the system does not come on. Before if I continued to flip the switch sometimes hundreds of times over several hours, eventually it would come on and then function properly. Most of the time though it would come on normally this situation would only occur some of the time. About a year ago I had to replace one of the solonoids when the leveling system stopped working completely. It is this solonid that is clicking now when the switch is activated. Any idea on what I should check? Robert Rahn 1988 pt 40 Kalispell, Mt. |
