by pass the hot water heater???
Hi Group,
well found today it is time to replace the hot water heater, a leak has developed at the bottom...15 or more years old so who can complain, went to the only rv store in this little town to see if they had a by- pass kit--(closed today) so went to the hardware store and bought a bunch of fittings, of course none were the right size... this is a small town so no lowes or home depot etc. tomorrow will be back home in 2 weeks, where I would like to deal with the replacement part, plumbing...tools etc. so was hoping for an easy way to by pass the hot water heater, temporarily......so we would still have cold h20 to flush, brush teeth, dishes, cook etc. Can certainly get by a short bit without the hot water heater. There is a nice shower here at the park that can be used. do not have the h20 diagrams, wondering how to effectively by pass the hot water heater, and keep the rest of the h2o systems working... thanks Rose Mary 82 FC 35 side bath JP's White Bird |
