I also agree.. my 80FC will get 9 plus miles per gal doing 67 mph. With a full laod af fuel/100gal water and everything I else I might have on board. And this is not just going down hill this is an average. Some might argue this but if your foot is not to the floor economy can be achieved. 80WL33FC Dave Krolick Lakeland Coach Co.

Hi Dave. I assume you have verified the accuracy of your miles traveled? I know my odometer/speedometer was 10% 'happy' in my 83 FC as produced. The upgrade to 44" 24.5 tires corrected the discrepancy. It seems that the owners of the older lighter FCs with the NA 3208 claim higher mileage compared to the other Wanderlodge variants. Personally I haven't seen better than 7 mpg @ 55 mph pulling a light toad, but my engine only has 10k miles. I hope it gets better with age.

Hi Dave -
Wow, a voice from the past! Haven't seen much of you around lately. Hey, if you are getting that kind of fuel mileage, when are you going to saddle up "Trigger" and come back for another Lone Star Birds rally? Been since 2005 since we have seen you at one. ;^) How's the coach business going?
