Balloon Festival and pets

We went to two BB rallies at the festival years ago. Both times had dogs. Animals are not allowed on the grounds with the balloons and you would not want to take them there -- much to scary for them. Both times it was an easy walk from campground to balloon festival. Dog happily stayed on couch in coach. One year the campground was next to a wash which was a great place for dog walking. When balloons came over all dogs were terrified. After all that could be a really big predator. Second time we went the actual balloon grounds had moved and camping area wasn't as convenient; though, it did work out just fine. Jean Eichenlaub San Diego, CA '87 35' FC
