Air conditioning shrouds on 1993 PT-40

Tonight I was up on the roof of my Bird and the front AC
unit has a hole in the shroud, larger than I want to try to patch.
Tomorrow I will call Dometic to see if they have a new one. Does anyone
know the Dometic part # for this or a better source?

Thanks

A couple of years ago I bought a cover. Sorry, I don't have the part
number. Dometic's price was about $60 plus shipping. I found that
Camping World had one and the price was $65+/-. Be aware that there
are several different designs that fit the same AC unit. The design
that Dometic used in the mid-90's may be difficult to find. You might
want to talk to Dometic about it. You have to be an excellent
wordsmith to explain what yours looks like over the phone. Yours
probably has 3 - 90 degree corners around the top edge and has
relatively flat sides. The new ones have only one 90 at the top edge
and are a little more rounded/streamline.

Good luck in your quest.

I got ours from our local rv store. They had new covers for both Dometic and Coleman. Dometic uses more than one cover design, so take the old one along or give it a close look before you go shopping.
