2009 Hot Rod / Maxton Bluebird Mini Rally

2009 Hot Rod / Maxton Bluebird Mini Rally on April 2, 3, 4, 5, 2009, just $5.00 for the entire weekend and no reservations are needed, just let us know that you are coming. We will be leaving after the 2009 'Birds at the Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC) on April 1 and travel the 105 miles to Maxton, NC where we will have the gate at Maxton open for early arrivals there on Wednesday. We will be using the NEW parking area, that allows everyone to park on the concrete and has an excellent view of the track and return road, that allows you to see all of the race cars up close at the end of their timed runs and on their return to the pit area.

We will need a volunteer to co-ordinate the food for this mini-rally, if you are interested, or know of someone that would be interested in volunteering, please email me at "iamflagman@aol.com" we are not looking for anything elaborate, just very casual.

Sue Robinson has stepped up to the plate and taken on the job
of Food Co-ordinater for both the 2009 'Birds at the Beach
(Myrtle Beach, SC) and the 2009 Hot Rod / Maxton Bluebird Mini
Rally we really appreciate her help.

She has already come up with a plan for both events and this is
what we have to look forward to so far for Maxton;

Thursday April 2nd
Dinner - Eat Out at the Golden Corral..MMMMMM....RED
VELVET CAKE!!!

Friday April 3rd
Lunch - Sue and Rob will Host a Hot Dog Lunch -Hot Dogs and
Buns will be provided. Rally attendees to donate condiments and
desserts

Dinner - Looking for a volunteer to Host this meal.

Saturday April 4th
Breakfast - John Finn will supply the donuts, get there early, I will
be going to get them at 7am, so I can get in line early to race.

Lunch - Looking for a volunteer to Host this meal.

Following right after the 2009 'Birds at the Beach rally in Myrtle Beach, SC we are having a mini rally during the Land Speed Races held at Maxton, NC just a little over 100 miles from Myrtle Beach, this way you can get more bang for you fuel buck.
