Is a trip on hwy 90 through New Iberria and Homa on way to N.O.

worthwhile ? I am probably going through Shreveport from Ft.Worth

haven't been on 90.

I've been down that way, not all the way, but road was fine and there are some
interesting places along the way. It is more interesting than the interstate.
