450 lxi
We (the wife a I) drove one at the RIV and it was a marked improvement
in ride and handling over our 01 LX. In talking with a couple of new owners they also expressed a great deal of satisfaction in the new bird, I read the article and agree with the comment it is positioned well with the price below the higher line buses. It is still not a Prevost but getting close. Ken Rife 01 LX |

Synopsis: the bird rides and handles better but all the switches work
in the Prevost! Hey there Jim, Ken, I think as with most things mechanical there exist "bugs that need to be "worked out" I just had a conversation yesterday with a friend that has been riding back and forth from Fla to Ind with his buddy in his 7 mo old $1.3 Prevost..the last 4 trips they have dropped the coach at a TN dealer for electical issues and that is after another dealer tried 3 times to get it right. Generally small but annoying issues. He says the Prevost rides/drives like a sports car nothing like his BB. He has not driven the "NEW" 450Lxi which are supposed to be a substantially different coach when it comes to driveablity! BUT BB needs to be careful..if that is the case why would someone buy a pre 06 450???
