Tank supports

Those of you who've had to replace the tank supports, what did you end up using? While Id like to come up with a large polypropelene (or something similar) sheet to make it out of, I don't think I can do that with any kind of time line required.

My fresh tank has been seeping for a long time and after removal, I find the bung was never fully sealed to the tank, so it's been seeping from day 1!
