FC Steering slack on your bus?
I have adjusted by steering box as far as possible and changed the
fluid and filter. These things helped, and the bus is quite driveable, but I would like to know how it compares to others. I would appreciate hearing from you guys with older FCs like mine (77FC31) about how much play is in your steering while going down the road. Thanks, JB Lewis Grand Lake, Oklahoma |

In addition to adjusting the steering box, you might try to adjust the
ends of the drag link at the pittman arm & other end.... Also, the steering box os mounted on a plate, which is mounted on another plate & then the frame... Tighten these bolts down snugley. That helped quite a bit on my 1973 coach.
