Last Reminder On Lone Star Birds Rally This Weekend

The June Lone Star Birds Rally
is going to be in Grand Prairie, Texas at Traders Village RV Park, it
will be in conjunction with the 32nd North Central Texas Antique Auto
Swap Meet.

Car buffs can browse through over 1,000 spaces occupied by collectors
and vendors from across the United States. Acres of cars, parts,
accessories and memorabilia items will be displayed. The Swap Meet
will feature row after row of items, such as old-fashioned gas pumps,
signs, toy cars, advertisement pieces and more!

Traders Village opened in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in Grand Prairie
in 1973,millions of people have browsed, shopped and traded within the
acres filled with thousands of dealers offering a little bit of
everything.

We have blocked off Twenty spaces, they are full hookups with 50 amp
service on paved & level surface. You will pay the RV Park when you
arrive. Deadline for reservations to Tony is May 25.

FRIDAY - arrival whenever w/ dinner on your own (car buffs come early,
this is cool)
LATER FRIDAY NIGHT - Frozen Margarita Party Luau and Hor's de Voures -
wear a hawaiian shirt (bring some, make some, to play, eat and drink
ya gotta bring'em)

SATURDAY MORNING - 9:00am Regular Lone Star Birds Breakfast
Extravaganza (this time it is Saturday morning, bring your best
breakfast something for everyone)
SATURDAY 10:30AM - Coach tours - 5 minutes per coach, Men show
highlights only of favorite coach mechanical upgrade, Women show
highlights of favorite Interior Decorating or Kitchen Item or upgrade.
(5 min is to speed the tour's up...after tours are over you may get
with the bird owner for discussions of whatever!!)
SATURDAY AFTERNOON- on your own.. view the antique cars, nap, and flea
market
SATURDAY EVENING – Linda and Ellis will put the briskets on, you bring
the fixins and chow down with us .no ketchup allowed!
LATER SATURDAY NIGHT - Watermelon eating contest and contest to see
who can drink the most Slippery Nipples(arranged by Glen and Susan) or
Margaritas!!!
Exemptions/ Exclusions: (full names were removed to avoid alerting
police dept.)
1. (Eric J. and Rosie A. will be chained to their coaches and are not
allowed to participate!)
2. (Bim B. - Box wine is allowed in the contest, assuming he can stay
awake past 8:00pm, fat chance!...it's a good thing Ernie's out of town
or he might win!!)
3. (Joe L. - please, please keep your shirt on...NO we never want to
see that joke again!)

SUNDAY - take two aspirins and go back to bed for most of you...for a
very small group there will be a casual coffee and donut breakfast w/
departure's whenever
