Keeping clean in your BB
Doug:
When I was buying my coach, I stayed in it for a week, and had showers each morning, ok, not long ones like a 17 year old, but long enough to have a good scrub, much better than my 5th wheel for sure. Bill 84FC35SB Terrace, B.C. djlcanuck This may sound like a silly question but here it goes. How many of you accually use the shower in your BB? Do they make enough hot water for a home style shower or do you still need to do the Wet, Soap, Rinse routeen. The two other coaches I have had make the shower impractable to use due to lack of hot water. So they end up as storage closets and beer coolers. Ryan,
http://www.sporlan.com is the manufacturer. Find what you want and then search on it for a distrubutor. Since they are the type used on later model BlueBirds, there should be a bunch of forum members that know the best place to buy them. I think this is one of the great features of having a motorhome- not having to use public or hotel showers. Our aquahot provides plent of hot water even in the winter with the heat running. It was a problem with our previous coach that had a 10 gallon hot water tank. Then we used the "on-off" method. Wayne '99 LX Charlotte, NC |

We definitely use ours. It's a great shower with the "garden tub" option. Big,
plenty of room, with no problem having enough hot water for both of us to each get a nice shower, individually vs having to use the "conserve water, shower together" method.... that is, of course, unless we want to ;o) Ken & Patti Marsh Mpls ~ Keepin' our eye on the prize Full-timing as of March '07 ToWanda'89WLWB40ft djlcanuck This may sound like a silly question but here it goes.
