Back Up Defog Fan

Today the weather cooled down, wonderful! I have some time for the Bird
to-do-list. I'm squeezing in all I can before the Sand Dune season gets
underway.

The defog fan for the backup camera, is it suppose to operate when the
camera is switch on? Did bluebird install moisture sensors so the fan
comes on as needed Something I need to resolve? Been on my list and
bugging me since I did not do anything about it when the new camera/LCD
was installed over a year ago.

Curt:

On the overhead, there should be a switch marked "camera defog" it is a
manual switch operation.

Curt, Mine is not automatic, there should be a switch on the left overhead
marked defog, just above your head.

Dick, Ralph, I feel "almost stupid". I never thought to investigate
further. I do not recall the Bluebook mentioning that Defog Switch, not
in the CCTV section anyway. I went out to the Bird and sure enough the
switch is there on the upper dash and the fan works off that switch. I
can close out another task. Thank you!
