Does anyone know who owned this coach or anything about it.

Although it is currently located in Houston, Texas, I do not recall
ever seeing it at any Lone Star Birds events. To me it has the
interior look of one of those Royale conversions. Leroy, what do you
think?

Mike,
Listing said the coach just completed a 1000 mile trip. I wonder if they brought
it in from out of state.

Always interesting to see the oddities and differences between coaches. Among
the oddities: 450HP, which if true would mean it was built for California, I
think. Also 4-speed? Standard in 1990 was a 5-speed.

Odd also that it doesn't have the 6th odometer digit - mine does.

Lots of wood!

What do you think it worth? Just by looking at it?

It has already "sold" on eBay once, the bidder must have flaked out.
If I remember right, the winning bid was in the mid 60's.

I saw this coach I think on Ebay before. It certainly has the fingerprint of a
Royale Conversion unless someone spent a pile of money and time customizing it.
As well, I have seen 4 Royale Conversions and all have the chassis a/c condenser
on the radiator as opposed to overhead. That aside there are a lot of different
things that make me wonder about this coach.
1990 with a 4 speed Allison, strange
450 HP, must have been a CA mfg coach.
The tail lights have been modified along the way. That's ok
The electrical door does not have a pop out 50amp cord holder.
I don't see a toilet air pump or aux pump in the third road side bay or anywhere
else for that matter.
Reverse lights in the rear bumper
Genset motor is totally different. Mine is Kubota
I don't see a grab handle
Look at the side anodized aluminum trim pieces. The top piece does not drop
down. Look at the Living room windows. Different than mine or others I have
seen.
Black bumpers and mirrors
Handles on the bay doors are different than mine.
That's all for now.

To the Forum,
I called Brian at M C Wholesale in Houston after a little prodding he went and
looked he said it is a Royal Conversion. He said he had Delta Power Systems in
Greenville/Spattanburg S.C. area to check out the coach before moving it to
Houston. Brian said a fellow Bluebirder named Jimmy Johnson drove it to Texas.
Generator has 2744 hours on it. The Main awning rear support is off but he has
it he said the wall bracket was broken. He said he has circuit board for
overhead air conditioner on order. Coach has Bridgestone tires the codes Brian
gave me I believe are 1999 on front and 2001on duals. I could not tell about
tag. I hope the dates on tires are correct as always check for yourself before
bidding. Contact Brian at MC Wholesale, 11606 Hwy. 59 North, Houston, Texas
77093, Phone # 713-539-2776. I have no finacial interest in MC Wholesale or this
Coach.

I thought that was the oddest. I think a 4-speed was standard in 1989, so this
could have been a mish-mash of 89/90 stuff. Noted below are things that are the
same as mine, but apparently different from yours:

My toilet is electric, not air.

>Genset motor is totally different. Mine is Kubota

Mine is a Universal like that one, which I think is the standard spec for 1990
only.

Apparantly mine is a late 90 when they ran out of earlier model parts. I know
JusChillin, 90 Circus Bus(it was a BB show model) has the same electrical hook
up and the same bay handles as yours but his chassis a/c condenser is on the
roof.I really think the windows which apparantly do not open are strange. I
always thought those aluminum trim pieces covered ribs in the skin. Wonder why
BB would build a one off coach, which had to require some kind of tooling and
template change.
