New poll for WanderlodgeForum
As you may have noticed, I created a poll for Keith to help keep track
of the interest in the PMMI clock replacement. Keith if you want more choices, let me know and we can modify the poll. This is Keith's project, I just created the poll to try to help the process. The poll is scheduled to end on July 13 to allow plenty of time for most members to see the notice and react to it if they want to. New poll for WanderlodgeForum
Thanks Mike! Once we see how much interest there is I'll contact
Doug and see if I can talk him into taking the project on... New poll for WanderlodgeForum
I want to remind everyone that there is a poll running that expires
soon. This poll is to measure the interest in having PMMI make new replacement LCD/LED clocks or the clock/thermometer combination that many Birds have. This poll is courtesy of Keith Strehle, who contacted PMMI to see if they would consider making a replacment avaiable if there is enough interest. I am surprised by the low number exhibiting interest so far, knowing how many older Birds have problems with these clocks. Depending on price, getting one as a spare seems like a good idea. New poll for WanderlodgeForum
Mike,
What clocks are we talking about? I have one in the bedroom built into the over the bed panel. It is red in color, has an alarm function and has a couple buttons (set time, dim, alarm). I also have one in the cockpit overhead, there are several clocks here. One is the time, another is a trip clock. I assume you are talking about the one in the bedroom..... New poll for WanderlodgeForum
The LCD/LED clock lights are ones with the red lights typically found
in the bedroom, the galley area, and/or the upper front dash, depending on the year of the Bird. They do go bad after years of use and a replacement currently does not exist. That's why Keith approached PMMI to build new ones.
