Leaking BWT(groan)
Howdy.
Well, we have a slow drip through the underbelly from the black water tank. I put a clear plastic container under the Bird. No doubt about it, it is black water. It is slow but it is still a leak. <sigh> Will have to find a shop in the San Antonio, TX to fix this problem. Regards, Jack Pearce |

Jack: Are you sure it's from the tank and not a fitting at the tank?

Leaking BWT(groan)
I went through it after I got Blue Thunder in 2007. The heating circuit under
the tank had melted the coil pattern into the ABS and it had cracked along those lines. It would only leak when the less than 6 or so inches of water was in the tank. More than that and the pressure would seal it off! I removed the tank myself and an RV repair place fiberglassed it for me. Working well at this point.
