PCV valves
How often should the pcv valves be replaced/rebuilt on a cat 3208?

PCV valves
Chuck my Cat 3208 factory manual says its a Preventative maintenance
level 3 item and should be checked every 2000 hours or 10,000 gallons of fuel. You can get the repair kit from NAPA but I cant find the part number for it (its hidden somewhere here in the pile of receipts I have). If you do take the PCV valve apart be very careful. You have to orient the diaphram with the mark "piston face" towards the piston. If you do not it will never work correctly. tom warner Vernon Center,NY 1982 FC35 1985 PT40 At 10:28 AM 3/30/2006, you wrote: >How often should the pcv valves be replaced/rebuilt on a cat 3208? > >Chuck Harrison >WLSP36 >Akron, Ohio > > > > > > >---------- >YAHOO!
