Simichrome is no good!

Simichrome is no good!
Hey Leroy, I got my order today and as soon as I
could started sampling here and there as to how well
Simichrome worked.

Now I have all these good looking spots on the coach
and have to grunt to complete the job, that's WORK!

Kidding of course, it did work well, much better than
Mothers. The side trim which I understand is an oxide
finish, took a lot of the marks off. Looked like
raindrop outlines. Maybe acid rain?

I was doing some reading on the oxide process where
there is a coating above and below the original surface.
I don't want to go after this too aggresively, just
make it look better. Excelent on chrome, stainless,
polished aluminum. Expensive yet of value.

Thanks for the tip, Shining more by the spots.

Bob:
It's the best by far I have ever used. If the anodized finish has failed the
worst thing that can happen is you have shiny metal and have to repolish just
like your Alcoa wheels. I use a soft 4" polishing wheel on a battery powered
drill motor for most applications. I clean the black stuff off with windex and
an box of rags(paper) available at most ace hardware stores. Cleaning your
hands is another issue. You will have beautiful shiny metal when you finish.
Thereafter, it's just maintenance.

Yeah, the awning supports are anodized. Mine are shiny but the front grill is
matt. Won't do anything except clean them.
