Two roof airs, ambient coach temperature 73*,
Temperature at AC out 54*, 19* difference.
An A/C man told me if you have a 20* difference
(house)that's about as good as it gets.

Same for coach roof airs?

If I could hang meat I can handle it.

Howdy, Bob.
We have been in Fort Worth, TX for about 3.5 weeks. And it had been in
the triple digits outside for 16 days straight. I tried keeping our
coach comfortable at around 74 degrees by using two of the three roof
airs. Nope, when the outside temp reached 100+ degrees, the temp
inside of our coach was 80 - 82. So, we ran all three roof airs and
THEN we could keep the inside at 74 degrees.

Just our two cents' worth.

Jack and Liz,

Bob was stating the ambient temperature inside the coach not outside temp.
I certainly understand trying to keep the inside comfortable with 100+ temp
outside. We have our RV parked in the front yard at my mother-in-laws in
East Tx about 60 miles of Dallas. She has been ill and we are trying to
help. I only have 30A service to the RV so I am limited to one A/C unit.
These 100+ degrees days are hard to keep the inside below 80. I have made
some sun shades for the inside of the front windshield in the last month and
they have really helped. The RV is facing south so the sun in always on the
front windshield. I bought some corrugated plastic, cut it to size, glued
aluminum clad sun blocker on it, and taped the outside edges with the good
aluminum tape that A/C installers use. Dropped the inside temp by 5
degrees. I plan on adding some more to the bedroom windows. Helps the
drapes from fading also.

Good luck,
Jimmy
