Dumb answer
The only dumb question is one not asked. The only dumb answer is one
not challenged.

This Forum provides quality information by public posting of ones
Opinion. The quality of information suffers in two ways when members
view a contrary post as unpolite and or hostile.
1.Members fear posting a solution that may be challenged. We are all
robbed of their view and input
2.Members fear challenging a post that may be wrong or different.
We are robbed of additional input and solutions.

One member expert on this site sent me an email which challenged the
content of my post to a solution of a members situation. His email
contained the correct information and a note that he chose the
private Email route to avoid embarrassing me publicly in the forum.
I was enriched with the correct information but the forum suffered
due to the polite attempt.(I have a pink stripe on my bus, takes a
lot to embarrass me)

It is my hope that members challenge my posts with their opinion of
correct information. It is also my hope that my contrary opinion
post are not viewed as hostile and unpolite but rather viewed as
sincere and helpful input which will add to our quest of a solution.
I further hope that members will freely post their opinions and
share the vast welth of colective knowledge.

Very well put Greg. It just happens that some have more sensitive feelings than
others, so we should all try to be tactful.
I guess I will see what you are made up of at the Buellton Rally LOL

Very well put and a very healthy attitude. If more of our politicians
and world leaders valued debate and discussion instead of responding
like third graders on the school playground, the world would be a better
and safer place.

Bullies hardly ever get challenged. (others want to avoid
confrontation) That is why they start to believe they know it all
and stop learning options.

True, but sometimes the bullies do not believe they are bullies.
