wiper motor for 82 fc

Rose Mary. I needed a motor for my 83 pt last year and had to get it from BB.
I am in the starter and alternater business and can buy wiper motors but
could not find one for the blue Bird.

Went to Napa today too see about a wiper motor, wanted to get it fixed
before the rains...
nothing, talked to the mechanic who works at the local school district
bus shed (they have a lot of bb on their fleet). He gave me the name of
a bus dealer in Portland. Called them, no luck.
Suggestions?

Got mine from the Blue Bird school bus dealer. Part number 4304440 $55.02.
I believe this is a universal type of motor & number and your bus dealer
just doesn't want to be bothered. It fits Airtron, Carpenter, Thomas and
Wayne buses also.

When I had a 83 FC35, I was able to free up a stuck wiper motor with
PB Blaster and pyhsically moving the wiper arm, then used a silicon
lube on it. It is driven by air supply, is the hose in good shape
feeding to it? Have you opened the front panel to inspect it?

Try this, Google 4304440 wiper motor. The first listing will be for
Ryder Fleet Products http://www.ryderfleetproducts.com There you will find
the motor for your coach. That same wiper motor is common to Blue
Bird, Aurlon, Carpenter, Thomas, and Wayne buses. The cost is $49.86
