OK, somebody should have told me not to take on waxing this beast on an empty
stomach. I
need a sandwich (and a beer...or 3).
Now for the questions of the day:
1) My thermometer keeps going into "blink" mode. If I fiddle with a contact
breaker under the
drivers side sofa, (there are 2 that look the same, the one I manually break
contact with is the
one closest to the rear of the bus) I can get it to quit, but then it goes back
to blinking after a
while...any ideas? And what is this breaker I'm monkeying with anyway???
2) Fridge is new, and fired up on LP just fine, but turned itself off overnight.
"No FL" (no
flow??) I just restarted it and no it's working again...anyone???
Time for some lunch...Doug

Doug. I don't know the year or model of your coach but I'll take a
shot at the refer. On the Dometic's, I have a rm7030. when it reach's
the temperature that's it's been set to by the thermostat it will turn
the gas off and stay's off until the thermostat tell's it to cool down
again. If your in a cool climate you'll see this happen a lot. In a
warm climate it won't be as frequent. Could be nothing's wrong with the
refer, just working as advertised. It will do the same thing on
electric also....Bob 93pt---Illinois. Ps. It's cool here now and I
leave the refer on all the time, when I feel the cooling coil's they
will be cold most of the time but the refer is still holding 35 degrees
which I set. I use a remote thermometer to monitor the inside
temperature, keeps from opening the door.

Doug
Our thermomater in front and clock/thermomater in the kitchen blinks
to, as you said you can fiddle with it and it stops for awhile but
goes back to blinking. I gave up on it because it dosn't bother
me,lots more important thing to look at but it drives my wife nuts!

Jeff,
Thanks for the input. I am going to monitor the
behavior to see what triggers the bilnking. I think it
may be a power surge situation. I"ll psot my findings.
