As I have been researching recovering or replacing the captains chairs
in our coach I found a website (http://www.discountvantruck.com)that has RV interior packages. They are located in California so I can't go see teir items. Has anyone purchased anything from them? The items look nice in the photos and the prices are reasonable. Thanks for any info. Mike McMahan 1989 PT40 |

I asked the other day if anyone had purchased any interior furniture
from a company/website discountvantruck.com I guess no one has but I am still interested. Do we have a member in the Long Beach, Ca area that might be willing to go by their store and check out the quality of their merchandise. Their phone number is 800-414-0485. Hi Ken,
Please send me your findings too. I am going to need a new couch for my PT40 & their prices do look good. Appreciate your help to go check this out. I bought two new seats from this place (they are actually located in Bell
Gardens, CA), but they have a Long Beach business address???). The seats are OK, but not even close to the quality of FlexSteel furniture. The first set they made me, they put the armrests up near my armpits, and the skirts on the bottom were about 4 inches too short so the seat pedestal mechanic were visible. I took the seats back, and they made me new ones which were a lot better (no additional costs...and they made me entirely new seats). Typical internet sales...cheaper quality, made by hispanic craftsmen in good 'ole Southern California, in some back alley industrial area of the outskirts of downtown LA. I know...I went to their factory...and got what I paid for...inferior quality, at a reasonable price (is there such a thing??). If you are on a budget, like I was, the seats are about 1/3rd the cost of FlexSteel, at about 1/2 the quality, so I guess a better value??? Good luck.... Ken,
It was great of you to offer to check on those guys. Please post your impression of the quality of the products and the company as I am sure many people will be interested, based on the prices I saw on their website. Say, you've been lurking forever. When you gonna break down and make the plunge into Bird ownership? =;^) Mike Bulriss 1991 WB40 "Texas Minivan" San Antonio, TX --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Ken Sann" > > Private email will be sent. Kevin, Thanks for the post. I was considering purchasing some of
their products but I guess if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. Thanks again.
