Keyed Power?
While fiddling with my RH heater motor switch, I noticed that this has
power, even if the ingition is off. Upon a little more inspection, I noticed that my voltmeter is registering and all forward fans have power, even with the key off. Seems like when I drove Pokey home, this all went dead when the key was turned off. Is this normal, or do I have a problem somewhere? Thanks, Doug Engel, Gunnison, CO. 1981 FC35SB "Pokey" |

Keyed Power?
Could be a funny relay some where. Happy hunting. I still have to find out
where the left turn circuit is shorted on my FC MH ----- Original Message ----- From: doug_ngl To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com Sent: Friday, December 15, 2006 1:20 PM Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Keyed Power? Keyed Power?
Doug,
On my 86 PT40 it will sure kill the batteries if I forget to cut off the two 12 volt master switches. Howard Truitt Camilla, Ga. Keyed Power?
My '77 had power to the blowers with the key off (pull-on switches in
overhead), by '82 they were keyed. I don't know when they changed, might have been '82. - Jeff Miller in Holland, MI --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "doug_ngl" wrote: > > While fiddling with my RH heater motor switch, I noticed that this has > power, even if the ingition is off. Keyed Power?
Thanks to all. Mr. Corona and I sat down with the BlueBook and traced wiring
diagrams. They get power from the overhead breaker bar, which also powers the waterpump, some lighting and a few other key off items. Seems to draw power from some main, key off power source, so all systems are normal...or as normal as they get in Pokey.
