I like the colors used on the coach. I assume you pole vault up to the
roof when needed? Gardner 78FC33 |

Gardner- Thanks! Been working on my bird for one year now. Got her Feb, last
year. Actually, Looking for a ladder to replace the old one. I purchased a replacement, but after I got it home, found out that it was not the same size. Too narrow, and a couple of inches shorter.. Stephen,
Did you repaint? If so, how far did you strip down the hardware? I have been thinking that when/if I repaint, I would really like to perhaps go as far as taking out the windows. I know that will be a pretty big project, but I would wind up with a job done right. Close to 40 years ago I had an Econoline van I bought used. I took everything that could be taken off, off, both inside and out. When we got to the paint shop, we pulled out the windshield. All the shop had to do was prep the surfaces and paint everyting in sight. My coach was repainted sometime in its history and the shortcuts are showing. There are a lot of places where the new paint has pealed off leaving the old to show through. I would need to have it sand blasted or perhaps use plastic beads, but the old paint has to come off before the new paint is applied. Well, I have not re-painted. Just some touch-ups. I did find 'almost' a
perfect color match to my light beige color on the bus. It is as close as your local Lowes store.. It is Rustolium "Almond" Professional (silver, tall can) In spray, and by the quart. It is nearly a perfect color match, and I figure until I can get around to spending big $$ to paint the entire bus, it will be great for now, not to mention the 'RUSTPROOFING' it will provide, whereas I don't want to do any damage to the precious metal frame. Luckily, I do not have any rust.. and want to keep it that way! I will have better pictures up soon of the new LED top clearance lights.. stay tuned.. I also still have to address the ladder.. :-( I will hopefully find one soon! I do work at a RV dealership for pete sake!
