SOUTHWEST BLUEBIRDS and friends: Annual Quartzsite Rally announcement

As you know, the 2007 'Q' Rally was a learning experience.

Planning and executing a rally in an area that is remote from home is
very interesting, but lots of fun. Bringing together such a great
bunch of people was well worth the effort. Our biggest issue was
finding a nesting area that would accommodate all the RV units in one
group. In the end, not as big an issue as we thought--there was
plenty of open space.

A big thanks to Rick Archie for his help in locating and holding a
nesting area.

Everyone had a good time, there were plenty of things to do at the
'Main Event' and 'Big Tent RV Show'. Too bad we couldn't park next to
the RV show area--all of the beautiful 'Birds would have stolen the
show >:-}.

BECAUSE THE RALLY WAS WELL RECEIVED, BOTH BY THOSE ATTENDING AND BY
THOSE WHO WANTED TO ATTEND, BUT COULDN'T, WE'VE DECIDED TO MAKE
QUARTZSITE A REGULAR ANNUAL EVENT HOSTED BY "SOUTHWEST BLUEBIRDS and
friends".

This will be in addition to rallies we conduct in California for the
core members of SWBB.

CONSIDER THIS AN INVITATION TO ALL BLUEBIRDS OWNERS THROUGHOUT THE
COUNTRY TO ATTEND OUR 2008 QUARTZSITE RALLY.

By announcing and planning a year in advance, potential participants
have plenty of time to arrange their schedules.
