What about holding a sorta protest rally across the street/around the corner at
the same time. I'm sure it could be done for a whole lot less and maybe just might help them realize all of Mike's valid points. Ernie,
On the serious side I would like to stay across the street after the rally again this year. That doesn't mean we are going to the rally but we did really enjoy the get together at the campground last year. Another benefit to staying at the campgroud across from the Perry Ag center is the service. You know BB stopped doing service at the rally several years ago. At the campground however there is one fellow who changes air bags and another who services generators. They were fairly quick and the price was right (box wine or beer). Nothing like chilli around the campfire with a group of friends to break the silence of the night.... this year) and the free pre riv in the parking lot at the fairgrounds! randydupree 93wb ----- Original Message ----- From: John To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com Sent: Thursday, May 05, 2005 9:51 AM Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Re: RIV I just talked to Fred Vandenberg at BB and he confirmed that the price for RITV 2005 is $485.00. I'm glad that I got to go to my FIRST & LAST RITV last year, it isn't worth that much money for me to attend again. Instead I will attend every Maxton Mini Rally for the remaining races of the year and the Myrtle Beach Rally next year too. I wonder if you can attend the pre rally in the field at Perry, before RIV, without attending the RIV?
