Tan colored PT-40 with the newer style (Prevost?) tail lights. I didn't see the
front of the 'bird but the back had the look of having been in snow recently. Southbound on I-95 coming through Jacksonville, FL at about 12:45PM today. I was standing on the St. Augustine Rd. overpass enjoying my weekend walk when you came through in the middle lane. Anyone on these lists? --PirateJohn-- '82 PT-40 Jacksonville, FL [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

spotted a bluebird pt in lake charles, louisiana yesterday and was wandering who it might be. was nice looking and clean.if you are on this forum and need anything-info-help-or whatever give us a call. the plate was from Pennsylvania and no name on bird ed and peggy mcstay 83fc rb 35ft "lonesome dove" lake charles, louisiana Hi Ed and Peggy, You might spot me one day on my way through Lake Charles to DeRidder and Rosepine area. I graduated from Rosepine Hight School and was raised up in Vernon Parish, La. I have a Maroon and Cream 1995 WLWB 42 footer Blue Bird that I just bought in June 2007. I am a fresh wet behind the ears newbie right at the beginning of the learning curve on Blue Birds. I have already been baptized by fire with what I thought was going to turn out to be a major problem with my Kubota 15KW generator, however, it turned out to be just a low coolant problem caused by a pin hole leak that I did not detect because of all the rain we have had kept the drive way wet and I never spotted the drip. The systems on the Blue Bird are not what I would call complex but without any documentation to tell me where things are located and how to operate them presented a daunting task but with the help of many of the members of this forum I am gradually getting my arms around it. Hey, got any good RV parks around you. We like to hit the Casino's and Lake Charles is a good place to do that. I know of one RV park located near Ragley called Lone Pine Music Park I think that is the name of it. Been there to join in on Bluegrass Jammin. Also there is one at Longville but that is getting pretty far away from Lake Charles. Anyway nice to know of another Louisianian with a Blue Bird. My best regards, Best Regards, Ron Thompson Waller, Tx. 1995 WLWB 42'Blue Bird Body #F112297 (cockyfox@...) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

Bird Sighting
I was pulling out of a rest stop on route 91 in Vermont on Sept 30th
and in the rear view mirror I spotted the unmistakable front of a Bluebird FC. As it passed the driver hit the air horns, so did I, but after a few moments. It is a pretty busy time merging onto an interstate going uphill with a 3208 NA. It was a cream and light mustard yellow coach with a vintage toad on a trailer. It might have been a Chrysler, but I didn't get a good look. He exited at Rt. 2 heading towards Boston and we exchanged horn blasts as I went by. Was it anyone on the forum? Gardner 78FC33 |
