Oil pressure shutdown switch for PowerTech Gen - 91WBWL
I had problems with my PowerTech Generator shutting down and discoved
that the oil pressure shutdown switch was the cause (oil pressure was fine). This is NOT the sending unit to read oil pressure, but rather the unit that shuts down the engine if it detects lower oil pressure. However, I'm having a bit of a problem locating the part. It is a 'bell shaped' device screwed into the block with one wire connected to a threaded stud. It has numbers 15066 and 0192 stamped on it. Using my generator model number PowerTech asked me what type I had and neither of the ones they had matched the description of what was on my engine (a Kobota v1903). They suggested it was a Bluebird part. Bluebird Parts says I need to get the part from PowerTech. I do not know if this part was replaced at some point in the past and therefore causing the confusion. Does anyone on the forum know what is the proper specification of this part? To me it looks like a generic part, but I have not been successful using the numbers stamped on the unit in locating a replacement. Any help would be appreciated. I am suprised PowerTech does not have the part. BB will not carry it. I replaced
my sensors supplied by PowerTech. Try http://www.bus-depot.com and see if they can get it for you.
