Finally a member of the flock
I knew it was a matter of time when the right bird for me would come
up and everything would fall in place. I was planning on going to AZ next weekend to look at an 83 PT40 but I will not have to make that trip now. As it turns out Wayne Chappuis needed to sell his 84 PT40 and lives about 90 miles north of me. The two situations came together at the same time. Went up tonight to look at it, I will pick it up tomorrow. I feel a whole lot more comfortable about getting his and knowing the reason he had it up for sale was parked behind it. Now that I am a bird owner I will be a little bit more active and do a whole lot of searching the archives. Hugh Turner Proud new bird owner |

Congrats Hugh!
You will enjoy that bird a bunch. Wayne and I actually tailgate together at Georgia Tech and it is YOUR bird (with a lot of help from Wayne of course) that got me interested in them in the first place. I know that bird works well and will serve you wonderfully. Hugh, best wishes on your 84. You will like all the gauges that I don't have
on my 83 but had on my 84FC. Ernie Ekberg 83PT40 Livingston, Mt ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
