Hi group,

Reading the June issue of RV Life (can be found at rvlife.com).
Has a couple of pages on a 65 yr old John Jones.
Seems he owns a 91 PT36 and travels around with his dog.
Haven't seen his posts on the site, so guess he doesn't read our stuff.
He is an ex Marine, bush pilot, Eastern A/L pilot.
Has figures on what it costs to travel around.
His rig gets 7mph...wish my 5.7 could match that.
Uses about 1,000 gallons per year with an average fuel cost of 3k.
Budgets 600 per month for campground fees.
Basically living on 2,000 per month....we could do that.

Ernie,
Try Google search: (rvlife june issue). Double click the web site,
and when it comes up go to the search function at the top of the page
and type in John Jones. The article will come up. You may have to
right click on the page and then click "zoom in" to increase the font
size so that you can read the article.
This guy has really got it together.

Follow Larry's instructions on the search once you hit the above link.

If it is a '91 and 36 ft it must be an SP. Interesting and
disciplined guy.

Let me tell you, them old Eastern Airlines Pilots were a group
alright. Some even flew under Capt Eddie Rickenbacher, when he was
CEO. You are right to assume, if it is 36 ft long, 1991, its a SP.
