Wanderlodge chassis

I am contemplating the purchase of a 1994 Wanderlodge with 150,000
miles.
What is the value of the coach because NADA does not list them.

I would also like to see photos / drawings of the chassis on this
coach and a brochure if anyone one has them. My # 1 concern is
safety; I passed on purchasing an American Eagle because I heard that
if it rolled it would be toast. Any photos of rolled Travelodges that
survived? Was the 1994 built on a spartan chassis?

Hi Mark and welcome, The best bet on prices is to shop the net
perhaps and to look at the bill board to see what similar coaches
have sold for.Or at least what the asking prices are. Of course the
issue is condition, condition,
condition. I doubt there are pictures of rolled "Wanderlodges" and
not to certain how meaningful they would be.
Too many variables to make any type of judgment. We owners feel the
Wanderlodges are the best built and likely the safest of the
motorhomes. This is based mostly on the obvious quality of
construction. One the other hand I would suggest that any coach
rolled would be pretty well toast. The idea being that hopefully the
passengers would not be. Some one likely has the printed information
you are looking for. I am going to take a shot at the price and say
a 1994 wanderlodge is going to sell for about $200,000 with some
added or extracted based upon the condition. Could be $50,000 either
way. And again others who are into that end of the market will
hopefully offer a more knowledgeable opinion on some of this. They
certainly are very nice coaches and worth considering.

$200K? Yikes...not even close from what I've seen - and I have been
watching closely (as I am a wannabee).

Right now, 94's appear go be going in the $100-110K range - with a few
outliers that are asking on the high side (most of those have been for sale
for a long time I might add). Based on my experience at looking, most you
will see for sale are asking in the $110-130K right now.

A quick run through them has most of them going in at $90K low retail and
$110K average retail.

I will assume you are looking for photos of Wanderlodges. Go to
"Photos" on WanderlodgeForum.org and look in an albumn labeled BB
Wreck. They walked away. Rosie sprained a toe kicking out the front
windshield to exit the vehicle.

Wanderlodges are built on Bluebird bus chassis. Traditional frame
rail construction. Built like tanks.

NADA will have them listed.
