New Bird look
Haven't seen it yet but waiting on the web site to come up with the New
Bird. I fell for these Coaches when I was 16 back in '64 and find myself actually anxious over the unveiling of this one. Good luck to all, Macy and may the roads be kind. Safe travels, Ralph and Charolette Fullenwider 84FC35 "Ruff Diamond" Duncan, Oklahoma |

I myself like a more simpler interior that doesn't remind me of "What else can we do to sell this rig?" The Wanderlodges are a great machine but I do think that the engineers went out of there way to jaze up the interior with all those small light here there and everywhere. And as for mirrors a few are ok but just to install them everywhere is a bit much. Well that's my two cents worth and beside I don't think I will ever own one as probably they will run out at haft a million or so. Jon Rebel Bird |

Well, here we sit. Three hours after the official unveiling and
nothing new on any of the web sites. Ho-hum. Need some marketing lessons from Apple on unveiling new products. Mike,
I was thinking the same thing. I waited and watched the clock time out expecting a Web unveiling. Nothing but fade to black. One would think after making the effort to build the timer and create anticipation, something other than fade to black would have occurred. Perhaps the Webmaster messed it up? -- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "mbulriss" <mbulriss@...> wrote: > > Well, here we sit. Macy, you need JohnF to run your website. I bet it would cost you
less to move him around the country in the 09 with an aircard loaded laptop then the template pushing web development company you now use. It would be cool to see him rewarded for his now exploited volunteere effort I can only imagine the audiance you attracted for the unvailing with the expensive yahoo, google, ask, firstpage placement was 500 times larger then the folks that were at the show. the entire thing was more reflective than the chrome bumpers I had hoped to see. Amen! I spend yesterday at MacWorld-SF... Apple sure knows how to put on a great presentation.

Yes, it would seem like in 24 hours after introduction that there
could at least be some pictures on an "official" company website, rather than just a dead countdown timer. A webcast of the unveiling would also have been nice, since as Greg pointed out there were *many* multiples of interested parties checking online than there were at the Florida show. I like the lighter colors of the interior and the curved cabinetry.
It is an art putting color and texture together. I respect the designers that can make the elements work as they did in the bus. the one thing that is disturbing is the fit of the fabric on the sofa. the curved corner section , all the cusion ends and back of drivers seat seemed un fitted. It may be easier to critique fit in a 2d pic unvisited. that is why I point it out. Vessel sinks are cool, dont like the rock vessel but love the glass. confused why the cabinet under one sink had door tops exposed? I think the workmanship of the cabinets must be breathtaking in person. The exterior may show up better in person and on the road. LeroyE needs to do some engine compartment detail and dressing to make it appealing to owner operators. CCW customers are fleet buyers who hardly lift the hood. Lift the hood of a proud Peterbuilt owner operator and take note. The BBQ in Johns factory photo is way cool. Ekard stainless magic would also do wonders with a outside kitchen fit and finish. The slide corners are a big disapointment. A coach with the razor corner slides is one of the distinctions of coach and camper. The logo is cool but too big, might work for DonB 's petstore but not a private coach. Raised, the logo has dimension but looks cheap ( may just be the 2d effect). I like it to say wonderlodge someplace near the door and off the back. reminds your guests to keep their feet off the furniture and answers the questions to the CountryCoach drivers you passed going up a grade. blue light is over done on sat dish adversising and no way would I glow one on the road in California. The prevo partybus conversions are in the onemill area so I think it is in line, I would hope the Wonderlodge was not much less than a comparable Prevo conversion. Why should it be? I hardly ever get thanked for my opinion. Strang how folks ask me what I think ?????? GregoryO'Connor 94ptRomolandCa --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, Pete Masterson > > Amen! Macy I believe the naysayers are an extremely small minority. To take overa struggling companyand then produce a newcoach as quickly as you have is nothing short of amazing. You and the people of CCW havetruly accomplishedsomething that I would have though impossible in the short time given.Bravo Zulu
