Servicing Hydraulic System
I plan to undertake changing the filters in the hydraulic system on my
89 WB. Having never done this task before, I would appreciate any information re issues/pitfalls to avoid. David Hanvy 89 WB Crosby, TX |

Servicing Hydraulic System
Dave: Easy Job. Just drain the tank. Plug in bottom. Remove the top
of tank and remove the three (3) fiters that are stacked on top of one another. Reinstall plug in bottom of tank. Install top on tank and fill with 10w30 motor oil. Job completed, less than 30 minutes. If you plan on replacing the vertical cartrige type element it's simply unscrew the canister and install filter. I don;t know of many people that replace the vertical cartrige element, it seems to last forever. It's also the most expensive around $90.00. This is a easy job, really straight- forward and no unexpected suprises..Good Luck...Bob 93pt Illinois |

I could not find any record of the vertical element having ever been changed so I ordered that filter as well as the three in the tank. FYI; I crossed referenced the Parker number over to a Donaldson PN number P170073 which I purchased $61 David Hanvy 89 WB Crosby, TX |
