I have a few sags in my coach, but that one really hangs down from the seam.

At PPL motorhome sales in houston texas there is currently a 86 40ft Bluebird
Wanderlodge for sale for $14,450. PPL's number is 1-800-755-4775. A link to this, if it works, is: http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/diesel/14118.HTM I know nothing about it and am not connected in any way with the seller. But for that price it has to have major issues? but still it may be perfect for someone to restore or use as a lake house? Rick Archie 85pt40 "Fort R" Fort Worth |

Priced for "quick sale?" ... I dunno, there's an '86 PT40 on Bird Connection with an asking price "reduced" to $89K. 86PT40 on Vintage birds, asking $65K ... another, 86PT38 asking $47K. Looks like the PPL unit has the 6v92 -- much less power than the 8v92 -- might also be a factor in the price.
PPL has been around long enough to know the value of a BB ... so I suspect that they're aware of issues with this particular coach. Might be good for someone willing to take on a "project" coach, but probably not for someone looking for a cream puff. I think perhaps the statement in the description says it all.
"If You Are Looking For A Coach To Put On A Lake Lot or Hunting Lodge" It seems to hint that it isn't road worthy. But the shell should be worth 14,500 to someone local. My sixth sense tells me this coach has probably had something (fire
or bad collision) that required a substantial rebuild. The front "grill" trim is missing from the front end. The goat rail is gone. The front A/C condenser on the roof is gone (something happen to the roof?). The barrel chairs are gone. Most of the dinette is gone (never seen that before). The bathroom mirror is gone and replaced with a small hanging mirror. The mirrored bathroom cabinet doors have both been replaced with something different. The mirrors are gone from the back wall of the bedroom. And is that a white steel rim on the curb-side tag wheel? I have said it before...if it doesn't "feel" right, it's wrong. My guess is this thing is a disaster. PPL is not in the motorhome give away business. I called PPL. It is a definate fixer upper. She did get to their
sales lot under her own power. It seems as though the past owner of 8 years removed anything that broke or quite functioning. Sales guy had no idea why he would do this. The fridge is gone as well as some other accessories like the heaters. The genny will not start and the slide needs to be wired up to keep it from coming forwards. According to PPL the tires look good and the exterior is in good condition for it's age. Unkown if central A/C works. Could be a great coach parked next to the pond on my farm:}Or maybe a shooting stand for next years Deer season. Might even be a canidate for the Australian coach we were talking about. Dealer said 55 or 60 K on the odometer that restated unknow by previous owner. Here's a total crap shoot, come on 7. Oh yea, the previous owner replaced the roof vents with sheet metal! LOL !! Yes, I did, though I try not to pounce on those automatically,
sometimes the trim does sag even with no leak, etc. Scott --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, erniecarpet@... wrote: > > Scott- did you see the large sag in the ceiling in the bedroom? > > Ernie Ekberg > 83PT40 > Livingston, Montana > > > > > **************Get trade secrets for amazing burgers. If the NADA depreciated book value is $7767 as has been discussed on another thread, offer them $2500. Everyone looks for a deal but do not take it when it arrives. I would jump on it if I was looking. lol,lol

I wonder what made the mirrors quit working?
