Butch, does your air dryer release air all the time? If so- sounds like your
air governor is out. Easy, cheap fix. Give us some more info and we can narrow
your problem further. Ernie, 83PT40 in Texas

I know this has been asked several times. But not having the problem
at the time is blasted by the posting.

My suspension won't air up both front and rear. I get the usual 75+
lbs on the front and rear guages. I did notice that the air dryer
dosn't release the ocasional air blast. WhenI toggle the susp dump
some air does escape but nowhere near as much as if I had suspension.
The only comonality I can see between the front and rear, by the
scematic, is the filter regulator just behind the street side air
tank. I took the regulator apart and didn't see anything significant.
When I re-enstalled it I left one of the output connection off. When I
aired up there was air escaping from the not connected fitting, but
how much?

Any help would be apreciated;

You might have a blown air bag.

Run the engine with the suspension dumped, you should get to around
125psi on both gauges. Pump the brakes to bring the pressure down as
you turn off the dump switch. If switching the dump switch back off
prevents the coach from building over 75psi then it is a suspension
leak. If it will not build over 75psi with the suspension dumped then
you have a leak or problem elsewhere, need to narrow it down.
