Upgrades

Last night, I finished installing a new Xantrex TrueCharge 40 battery
charger and the Blue Sea Automatic Charging Relay. What a
difference...this morning, all my batteries (including generator) are
reading 100% charge on the multi-meter, which I have never achieved
with this coach. I thought I was close to needing a full set of new
batteries, but this has given me renewed hope that there is still some
life left in these.

If you are still using the original battery chargers, you must consider
this upgrade. I bought both items on eBay and had the entire job done
for less than $275 and about three hours of my time. The most time-
consuming part of the job was maneuvering the original chargers out of
the compartment. The job can be completed with only a rudimentary
understanding of the 12v system.

Hi Scott,

Glad to hear that it worked out. Adding the Xantrex and ACR were
two of the best upgrades that I've done so far on my coach too. I've
been very impressed with the performance of the True Charge 40+ for
it's size.
