started the bird today and the front air bags will not come all the way
up.will rise about 1 inch and stop. rear bags come up just fine. iam
thinking it the leveling valve on the front axel. anyone have any ideas
as to what it might be. will look at the valve and see if needs to be
rebuilt and or cleaned. chime in with your ideas. thanks for any help
you can offer.

Ed,
I think you are on target looking at the valve. From what I have read
the control rod is not that hefty nor is the connection on the axel. It
may be as simple as re-adjusting it and insuring it is not slipping.

As always, be absolutly sure the coach is properly supported (Jack
stands) before going under.

Hi group,
Can't find the numbers for the 84 PT36 air bags or the rears either.
Also contacted Koni for rear shocks for the bird and got an email back stating
"Sorry, can't help you"
Really?
Anybody got these #'s?
Thanks.

Dpn Bradner sent me the following:

Front 902497SP-1
Drive 90441005 (FSD)
Tag 88051010 (FSD)

These are Koni numbers.

Bob, Try Justin Mc Coy at Koni 1-866-566-4175 ext 314
I met him at RIV a couple of years ago and if he is still with koni he should be able to help. My 88/38 uses a different set of numbers for the shocks but it is a WB.

When you call Koni, ask for verification.
