Charger location
My charger is located in the storage area for your drain hoses and
fresh water hoses. It sits behind a sheet metal boxed in area so it cannot be damaged by loose things being put in this location. I'm going to put a switch on the outside of this sheet metal box so that I can turn oft the charger without removing part of that metal box. Now my question is that I notice on the removable sheet metal box end that there is a punche out hole with silver tape covering this hole. I was wondering if at one time there might have been some-type of switch located in this position? Does anyone here have a 78 or 79 with a standard gasoline generator that has this sheet metal enclosure? Sure would like to know what went in that punched hole. Oh yes the hole itself is probably about 1-3/4". Thanks Jon |

Thanks Jon > > > Here is a picture of the sheet metal cover. > > http://tinyurl.com/3qnaxb Well I now have a switch to turn oft the retarded charger! I used that hole to run the wires to turn oft and on the charger using a 110 on oft switch encased in a metal gang box. Works great and from now on I will just run that charger once a week for a few hours. I would suggest to other Wanderlodge owners that do not have a system to turn oft your charger than they should figure out how to place one in your system. Oh yes I keep my 110 electrical system on all the time as that I use to run the refrigerator when my rig is not is oust. So what next??? Carpal Tunnel surgery for my worn out hands and then back to retirement and playing around with my toys. Jon > > > > |
