Steering wheel Removal
Does anyone out there know how to remove the steering wheel. This
would be on an '85 PT36. I guess what I really need to know is how the horn cap comes off. Art Weatherly Riverside Ca |

I have no idea but am not without comment. on cars and trucks with
airbag crash devices, the bags can blow up in your face if you try and remove the steering wheel. even the front seats on my rubicon have side impact airbags in the cusions. just a thought. What Vehicle had airbags in 1985??
certainly not a bluebird or anything else for that matter And you safely remove the steering wheel on a new vehicle by following the proper removal procedures contained in the service manual of every car truck or earthmover ever made stephen 77fc35 no airbags dupreeproducts.com --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Gregory OConnor" > > I have no idea but am not without comment. on cars and trucks with > airbag crash devices, the bags can blow up in your face if you try and > remove the steering wheel. even the front seats on my rubicon have > side impact airbags in the cusions. just a thought. > Greg94ptCa > > --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "amweath" > wrote: > > > > Does anyone out there know how to remove the steering wheel. Here in the states Olds Buick and Caddys had them as an option on
some models in 1976. I was surprised also. kinda why I made it a point to mention because Mr W may have been planning on pulling a late model truck (or earthmover?) Steerwheel off to replace the one he intends to remove in the bus. I also contest the absence of airbags in your bus. hey Greg quit being such a goof
The gent asked a question and I answered it. You also replied with a another nonsensical answer and then you insult me with an additional comment. The bluebird hub is proprietary to bluebird and will fit no other so it makes sense that no others will fit bluebird. By the way we sell olds buick and cadillac here also the air bag was a high priced option it was not standard in either country. Yes we have cars in Canada too. Why do you insist on being a shitraiser to all with your obnoxious comments. All you accomplish is driving people away Keep bashing away you may think it is funny and cute. But others think not.I think you been playing on the wrong side of the fence too long Stephen --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Gregory OConnor" > > Here in the states Olds Buick and Caddys had them as an option on > some models in 1976. Steering wheel Removal
I see Ernie beat me to it while I was composing, but I already had the
post typed so...... --------------------------------- Well Wallace, I don't know where the other mods are, but I just returned from the office - you know, last working day until Monday. Hence, it is 9pm while I have just finished dinner and am checking in. I personally do not have time to baby sit non-performers at work or disruptive dialogs in the avocation. The general congeniality of this forum and the information gleaned from it is why I eke out time for it and update Bird of the Week each Friday. As everyone is aware this is not an actively moderated site where we review every post (except for new members or fist time posters to catch spammers). We expect that there will be adherence to the rules on the front page. Healthy discourse is one thing, but failing that there can be changes, although I personally have little time for reviewing and releasing posts. I was there just before this erupted. There are too many posts per
day for continuous moderation. We all have other lives and if the members can't behave, they will just get dumped. R.E. Greg, What is your deal? You constantly reply to threads with sarcastic off point responses, do you think you are funny or are you serious? We try to help others on this website, if your response will not help, save it for your signifigant other, or is your wit unwelcome there to? I for one find you annoying, not helpful, basically just a pain in the a**. BTW i found a web site for you here is the link http://www.web-pub.com/aa/ Jim Riordan Stuart, Fl. Gregory OConnor
