NO. It is recessed into the bird body. I have one that I can trace
for you in a few days if that would help. Joe Losh in the Lone Star
Birds has made some of these, so he might have exact dimensions.

6" high. It will accept a 2 3/4" to 3" quality quartz movement in the

wing. My prototype is made from white pine and the original will be

blonde. I plan to make 7 prototypes to see what I can do with them. I

will use red oak on others and I plan to prime, base coat and clear

coat some of the pine to see what happens. I don't have anything else

to do. Colors I am considering are rose,lagoon, black, red and blue. I

may air brush one in a bluebird style and see how that goes. I would

clear coat that one. I would like to put a chime movement in one of

them but it may need to be larger because of constraints in the size

if available dials.



All are being hand made.

20 1/2 in. from noxe to tip of bottom wing, 5 3/4 in. high and 1 1/2
inches thick. That is from an original clock out of a 1982.

The numberals are: Blue Bird Emblem for 12 o'c;clock, W for 11, A
for 10 and so forth until you spell out Wanderlodge. It looks to me
if that is backwards but that is the way that they did it. Any other
questions mine is in the room with me.

If you would please, and how thick is the wood. The prototype movements will include face mounts and rear mounts. Leroy:

The wood is 1 1/2 inches thick. The numbers at spaced out from the
stem of the clock that comes through the wood 1 1/2 inches. That
make the number 3 inches across. That is from the center of one
number to the center of the opposing number on the opposite site of
the shaft. I hope I have made myself understood.

If you are not aware of them http://www.klockit.com is the place to order
clock stuff. They have just about any kind of movement you want.

Maybe, but have not gotten that far yet. I want to do a couple of designs, original as possible an a more modern face also. I am trying to find dial parts that will fit. I will provide photos when I get them together and go from there. Never know, the whole thing might flop. lol I have never fabricated a clock.
